Artists of the Future’ Children’s painting program

The painting workshop for children encourages children to express their creativity,  learn to think with an open mind, and also provides children with a sanctuary. Children who are involved in painting gain a lifelong appreciation of art. By teaching children this skill, you’re also opening them up to an entire world of artistic expression.  Expressing themselves through painting allows children to take part in an activity that is fun and fulfilling. It will help develop a stronger brain, give them critical-thinking skills, make them more creative, and provide a daily refuge they can turn to for stress relief.

The workshop is for children aged 6 and above for 2 hours on a bi-weekly basis on Saturdays.  Lessons are taught by professional artists and classes cover a range  of styles, subjects and techniques from sketch to painting with various mediums.

Tie & Dye Birthdays

Tie & Dye is a fun creative activity perfect for birthday parties.  It's bright and vivid, buckets of fun to make, and all in all a great excuse for an outdoor party. It's no wonder this fashion phenomenon has survived decades of summer trends worldwide.  Watch your child's face light up when you remove the first rubber band from their tie dyed t-shirt.  It is truly amazing the designs that one can create with so few tools.  We have a professional textile artist to teach the lessons and encourage children to be as creative as possible with their designs and colour choice.  These T-shirts make a great party activity, take-home favour, and brilliant fashion statement all in one!  Costs for tie & dye for a group of 15 is N2,000 per child.  Children are required to bring a cotton item of clothing to die.

To make the party even better, why not book Nike Art’s cultural troop who perform traditional dance with acrobatics, and can even teach the kids a few moves.  We can arrange everything from the entertainment, to the cake and food or have as little or as much input as you desire.

Other activities that can be added: beadwork, drumming, painting etc.
